Sussex Tech Adult Division to Honor Apprenticeship Students and Sponsoring
Employers at Annual Awards Ceremony
The Sussex Tech Apprenticeship Division in Georgetown held its annual apprenticeship training awards ceremony on Tuesday, April 5th. Sixty-three (63) students were honored at this ceremony for completing their 4-year apprenticeship training program. In an era when skilled tradespeople are in high demand, these students are earning the most sought after, industry-recognized skilled trades credential, the Journeyperson Certificate.
Apprenticeship classes at Sussex Tech Adult Division include the following trades: Auto Tech, Carpentry, Electrical, Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning/Refrigeration, Marine Mechanics, Plumbing, and Welding. Furthermore, three hundred (300) students are advancing into the next year of apprenticeship training. These students are securing a brighter future by developing their skills through Sussex Tech’s apprenticeship training program.
