CANDY GIVE BACK until Nov 22

Not sure what to do with all that leftover Halloween Candy? Have you noticed stores are still selling bags of candy at reduced costs? Looking for volunteer hours? Well then… consider getting involved with the National Honor Society and National Tech Honor Society’s CANDY GIVE BACK program and earning volunteer hours while making room getting rid of your unwanted candy. Create 10 zip lock bags with 10 pieces of candy. For every group of bags donated in increments of 10- 1 volunteer hour will be offered. Bags must come to Mrs Ashley’s room in the 300 wing or Ms Massaro in room 708 before Friday, Nov 22.

What will happen with those bags? A “thank you” note will be placed on each bag and hand delivered to First Responders such as paramedics and nurses, court staff and others who work tirelessly everyday to help others. So, do something nice today for someone else and recognize their hard work with a bag of candy. NHS/NTHS members want to thank you in advance for helping them help others.
