RE: Lead and Copper Tap Monitoring Receipt for Sussex Technical School District
(PWSID# 0000291)

Dear Mr. Putz,

The Office of Drinking Water (ODW) has received the most recent round of lead and copper tap monitoring results for Sussex Technical School District. ODW has calculated your 90thpercentile values at 0.00219 mg/L for lead and 0.318 mg/L for copper. The reported results do not exceed the 90thpercentile standard of 0.015 mg/L for lead or the 90thpercentile standard of 1.3 mg/L for copper and meet all federal and state requirements.

In addition to your sampling results, ODW has also received your Lead Consumer Notice and Certification forms. As a result, Sussex Technical School District has met the monitoring and reporting requirements for the July - December 2018 monitoring period.

Sussex Technical School District is now eligible to monitor on an annual lead and copper tap water monitoring schedule with a reduced number of samples. To maintain compliance, ten (10) lead and copper tap samples are to be collected between June 1 and September 30, 2019. These results should be reported to ODW no later than October 10, 2019. Failure to perform monitoring according to the "State of Delaware Regulations Governing Public Water Systems," or failure to report results by October 10, 2019, will result in a violation as stated in Section of the aforementioned regulations.
