Welcome to Sussex Technical High School
Sussex Tech High School Families,
As we begin the 2024-2025 school year, we are excited to welcome back the class of 2025 as they begin their final year of preparation before graduation and continue to plan for their post high school goals. We are also thrilled to welcome the class of 2028 as they begin to make the transition to high school and begin the exploration of a future career and/or plans for postsecondary education.
Sussex Tech continues to strive to build the best high school in the state of Delaware and increase our student success by offering opportunities to earn industry certifications, a strong traditional academic program, and a wide variety of curricular and co-curricular programs. We feel that this style of education offers students the best of both worlds, and prepare students for college and the world of work. We strive to ensure and all students develop industry-recognized skills before they graduate.
We continuously examine national trends and new technologies and look for ways to incorporate those skills into our curriculum. By staying on the cutting edge of both educational standards and the newest technology, our students will be prepared leaders in their chosen area of study.
At Sussex Tech our staff and students work together to build a strong positive culture full of student leadership opportunities and time-honored high school programs. Our students are encouraged to be involved in our programs and we support each one to develop skills to become strong student leaders.
We have high expectations for our students and expect them daily to practice the skills of being a professional, develop strong academic knowledge, learn the latest in technology, collaborate with their peers and educators, and, when needed, access the supports offered at Sussex Tech.
We are looking forward to the construction of the new and improved Sussex Tech which began in July of 2024. This new facility will bring our school into the modern era and allow us to better serve the students of Sussex County.
Looking forward to a great year.
